At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for a number of worldwide customers. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including opportunities to kick start your career as a Higher Level Apprentice in our Planning & Logistics team within our Seating business located in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.

What is a Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Logistics & Planning at Collins Aerospace Kilkeel?

Its an exciting opportunity to gain a BSc Hons Degree in Leading on Customer Operations whilst embarking on a career in a world leading Aerospace Manufacturing Logistics team.
Whilst working as a Higher Level Apprentice in our Planning & Logistics team you will have substantial opportunities to develop your skills. In the role you will:
  • Coordinate and get involved in departmental and business projects to support business improvements and decision making.
  • Learn, understand, and develop our internal logistics planning systems.
  • Support our management of inventory and ensure we meet internal customer deadlines.
  • Play a key role in ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the departmental systems and databases (including SAP).
  • Work closely with other departments including Operations, Supply Chain & Shipping to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
The Higher Level Apprenticeship is a fully funded qualification. Most of your week will be spent working in the business and learning on the job. You'll also attend university on a day release basis studying towards your degree, gaining the knowledge, skills and behaviours you need in order to thrive in a business.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates should have the following:
  • 3 A-Levels grade A-C or equivalent
  • 3 GCSEs (grades A-C) to include Maths and English or equivalent
  • High competency and passion for working with computers, electronic systems & databases.
