Security Analyst - Salary from £24,400 National and from £32,650 London.
This is a great job for either someone who is looking to develop their career and is either looking to move from IT into Information / Cyber Security and wants to learn the ropes around how it is managed or is ready for a step up from an entry level role in Cyber Security into a role where you have accountability for your own work and how to deliver it with agreed outcomes.

A bit about the job:
You will be joining UKCISO, a function within CISO that directly supports the market business and aligned IT support functions with understanding their cyber risk exposure to enable them to make informed decisions.

You will be accountable for owning some processes within UKCISO's market support team that directly helps the business to understand their cyber risk exposure via following existing processes on assessing business impact and managing penetration testing; these processes are designed to help address Aviva's Cyber risks.

You will be expected to promote good practice as defined in our internal control frameworks via your behaviours and the knowledge that you either have; or build and develop.

Aviva uses "smart-working", and the person in this role can be based anywhere within the UK commutable to an Aviva office.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • A good grasp of Microsoft Office product suites.
  • A working understanding of information technology.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate well.
  • Ability to deliver with limited supervision.
  • Qualifications desirable but not mandatory - Security+ or SSCP, degree in Computer Science, IT or Information Security.
