This leading company seeks a Technical Security Specialist with Azure and Office 365 experience to join its 20-strong Security team.
The role can be based in either Birmingham or Leeds, with plenty of working from home. The team only comes into the office when required for meetings, usually once or twice a fortnight.
In this role, you will be:
- Supporting and advising on projects which might be related to internal systems, cloud projects, firewall config, business oriented projects, or IT enhancement projects. You will advise internal stakeholders on security aspects of projects and manage security controls.
- Interpreting the technical information coming out of PenTests and vulnerability assessment reports. You will turn the report into language that an IT project manager will understand to then complete any fixes or remediation that is required.
- Improving the security posture and promoting security best practice.
The ideal candidate will have broad technical skills across security including an understanding of cloud, O365, IAM, networks and DLP. Someone with certifications AZ-500 and MS-500 would be ideal (but not a prerequisite).
The organisation has a healthy training budget so study will be supported towards future certifications.
