An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Front End Developer to join Collins Aerospace on a hybrid /ore remote working basis. The successful candidate will join an established team of software engineers and technical professionals to work on UX/UI design and implementation of web-based user interfaces as part of the Simulation Solutions & Services Engineering Department located in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, UK.

As a Front End Developer, you will work alongside the engineering team and product owner to create intuitive and compelling user interfaces for an expanding range of products.

Collins Aerospace UK Simulation & Training Solutions (STS) provides solutions to the most complex simulation and training challenges for a variety of military & commercial customers around the world.
The role requires an experienced Software Engineering professional, working independently or within teams on projects, to develop new products and diagnose and resolve issues on existing products. The role requires a multiple disciplinary approach to design and develop solutions that satisfy end user needs.

Basic Requirements:
  • Front End Development experience including strong knowledge of Front End Architecture
  • ASP.Net Core / Razor
  • Typescript / JavaScript and CSS / HTML
  • UX/UI Experience
  • Familiarity with JSON and JSON RPC
  • Experience with API Protocols
  • A passion to create compelling and intuitive UI's
  • Excellent communications skills
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math's (STEM) discipline with relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, relevant and proven experience.
