Summary of Role:
Training Design Services (TDS) is looking for a 2D Media Developer for Graphic Design
to support Royal Navy training based at HMS COLLINGWOOD.

Duties:
Main duties include:

The production and preparation of print ready and digital artwork adhering to identity and branding rules.
Production of digital templates and forms, which can be delivered across multiple platforms including interactive PDF's.
Production of signage and displays for small and large format output
Creation of animation sequences for insertion into courseware content
Operate large format printers and laminators
Use digital camera for design output
Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Comply with MoD and Raytheon policies.

Carry out any other reasonable tasks in TDS Media when required.

Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of work colleagues and customers.

The nature of Royal Navy training requires a high degree of flexibility for all Raytheon (Team Fisher) staff; there may be a requirement for travel to other sites within the UK

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a background in media design for electronic and print formats, is comfortable working within a standardized development environment, thinks creatively, is confident, excels in a collaborative team atmosphere, and is detail oriented. A professional attitude, ability to follow technical and workflow processes, and solid communication skills are essential.

Essential:

Experience in creating and developing graphic design and media content with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of design tools.

Must be organized and work well both independently and in a team environment.

Ability to comprehend/interpret technical and non-technical information and apply it to visual media and animations.

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment

Using MS Office (Word & PowerPoint

Desirable:


Experience in using a DSLR camera and image editing.

3D modelling software Blender/3DS Max or equivalent

Rapid Authoring tools Captivate or Storyline

Moodle H5P plugin

Required Education and experience:


A qualification in Digital Media, Graphic Design or a related field at the minimum grade of QCF Level 4 or equivalent.
