Your new role
As an NetSOC, you will be on-hand to resolve any system issues and threats that might arise during business hours, to ensure the company operates efficiently and without issue. You will also perform out of hours maintenance on company systems to complete upgrades as needed. When you are not performing these vital tasks, you will take part on team projects that aim to improve the current systems and keep the company modernised with cutting edge technology. You and your team will report directly to the CISO and will take turns each day on monitoring high level security tickets, to allow for other project work to be performed throughout the week.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years of industry experience, with a degree in technology or a related discipline/qualification. You can also be qualified through your level of experience. The ideal candidate will have decent authorisation experience, including (but not limited to) the use of AAD, SAML/OAUTH2/OIDC, RADIUS and/or MFA. You will have experience and knowledge across a range of infrastructure tech, such as servers, storage, backup solutions, Remote access tools and security. The security team has a strong focus across AD, ZScaler and F5 as the mostly used technologies however other technologies are extremely desirable. This includes use of SQL, Powershell, Docker and Kubernetes. If you have strong experience with Linux, you will also be highly considered for this role.
