NetReveal is a successful global technology business division of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. The role is home-based and will include infrequent meetings to one of our offices in London or Paris, Leuven, Poznan, Frankfurt.

Role Purpose:

Bid coordinators provide support (as described in the key accountabilities below) to FS Bid Managers through the full end to end bidding process, working with Account Managers, Sales and Pre Sales teams developing, securing approval and issuing timely, winning propositions to existing and potential clients. This is an important role supporting the FS business to win new sales orders each year in line with targets

With experience, bid coordinators will develop the knowledge and skills to lead early bid stage responses and small bids independently, ultimately progressing into Bid Management positions in the organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

Common activities undertaken by a Bid Coordinator include:
  • Establish bidding environments, including bid Sharepoint sites
  • Set up and update bid plan including timetable and responsibility matrix
  • Maintain the central bid tracker ensuring progress of all bids is clear and up to date
  • Track and report on bid budget approval, assignment and spending
  • Monitor, maintain and report on Sales Force
  • Provide ad-hoc support to bid managers throughout the bid process
  • Maintain and make available template documents (review decks, word templates, proposal formats, storyboard templates etc.)
  • Scheduling and participating in bid review meetings, including formal Governance Reviews and Approvals, including taking minutes and notes
  • Complete generic PQQ / SAQ & RFI proposal documents content using text and content available from the FS Bid knowledge repository
  • Coordinating and researching proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically including; finance, commercial, sales leads, pre sales, SMEs, graphics, marketing, managing document change control
  • Proof read - grammar and flow ("sanity check") review of documents
  • Bid related reporting
  • Close down of the "project" at the end of a bid, project "lessons learned" and harvesting of reusable collateral


Experience:
  • A well organised self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to balance and deliver multiple tasks and prioritise workload
  • Willingness to work flexibly to ensure workload is managed and deadlines are met
  • Team player / networker - builds relationships across the business, learning the "go-to" articulate the request according to needs
  • Close attention to detail
  • Excellent English language grammar and writing skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to demanding deadlines
