Job Description
Global banking group seeks a Security Solutions Designer to design security solutions for the bank.
Once a gap is identified, a product will be purchased to plug the gap and protect customers. However, due to the complexity of the organisation, the product can't just be deployed - a security solution needs to be designed first to meet business and regulatory requirements. The role will require senior stakeholder management, production of high level designs (requiring documenting and diagramming skills), and supporting the engineers on the deployment (however, to be clear, the role is design only - not hands on deployment).
In this role, you will work closely with the vendors and, due to the size of the organisation, you will be a key influencer of these vendors - often working with them to shape their product.
The role is based in Manchester. As a rough guide, you will be expected in the office approximately 1-2 days a week on average with the rest based from home.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a security design role, offering exposure to the cloud, multiple projects and a highly complex organisation offering real challenges.
