Job Purpose:

To support a multi-functional teams within Actuation Systems Aftermarket to provide analysis and deliverables in a timely manner, helping to drive evidence-based decision making for the business.

Please note this role has the possibility to be globally remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a robust demand planning model to improve forecast accuracy
  • Support the transformation of existing data analysis processes into an industry leading platform using the latest technology available
  • Use SQL, Python or other coding languages to work 'big data' into manageable and useful information
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within key processes and lead improvement initiatives to generate efficient processes that ensure ease-of-use, and offer the best user experience
  • De-risk and improve current reporting processes through automation, while maintaining data integrity through Log error checking with necessary checks and measures
  • Documents gaps to improve our ETL processes to drive fulfilment of customer requirements.
  • Work with key stakeholders to deliver key performance indicators and utilise Business Analysis skills to drive transformational initiatives from ideas to reality
  • Project manage the Data Manipulation & Transformation - achieve milestones and deliverables
  • Effectively coordinates implementation Data process and Workflow improvements for sustainable performance
Experience & Skills:
  • Experience developing using visualisation tools preferably Tableau
  • Knowledge of Python and other coding languages such as SQL.
  • Demonstrates industry standard documentation of their work
  • Supports solving statistical problems that are sometimes difficult and complex and can effectively explain results to a non-technical audience
  • Develops and implements new methods, tools, processes
  • Significantly improves the existing processes and practices using Automation and coding languages.
  • Process and results driven Curious, always learning & promotes learning culture
  • Establishes meaningful relationships to a senior level of management; empathetic
  • Ideally has worked with ERP systems data in a manufacturing environment e.g., SAP (P01)
  • Experience within a Project Management led Blue Chip Data Analysis and Reporting Team desirable.
  • Preferably has experience of the Aviation/Defence industry
