You will be joining a small, tight-knit team based in Edinburgh and will have the opportunity to positively impact a range of stakeholders through the successful completion of your responsibilities.
Your new role
Your role as a Systems Administrator in the team will be to provide desktop support and systems administration to over 200 members of staff across the organisation, in addition to a range of other stakeholders.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Creation, modification and administration of new user accounts
- Management of application, OS deployment and system updates
- Installation, set up and maintenance of physical desktop, laptop, network and server products
- Administer and manage Microsoft based platforms and technologies both on-prem and cloud
- Performing security updates and patches
What you'll need to succeed
To be a success in this role you must have excellent customer service skills to be able to provide a first class experience to stakeholders. In addition, you will be a self-starter able to take initiative to see tasks through to completion. You will be keen to dive into a wide variety of tasks to support the organisation to reach its goals and assist your team.
In addition, you will have strong technical skills and experience of the following systems:
- SCCM / Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Azure

This role will be predominantly based on site in Edinburgh 5 days a week however flexibility will be given in appropriate circumstances.
