Hays are working in partnership with a national law firm, who are looking to recruit for a new IT Infrastructure Security Engineer. This is your opportunity to join an organisation who is interested in helping you progress your skillset and knowledge within the world of Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
A hybrid working pattern with two days a week in office.

Your purpose
You will act as the primary escalation point for all IT security related events. Providing expertise on information security, technical compliance, IT audits & risk management, and data privacy whilst supporting best practices, including ISO 27001. Within this fast-paced environment, you will need to prioritise and resolve information security related incidents & requests whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • Identify, prevent and protect against cyber risks and events
  • Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans in the event of any security breach
  • Ensure that all IT information security policies and documentation are complete and regularly reviewed


Your experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Information Security Principles and best practices including ISO 27001
  • Excellent understanding and technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and security technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in a hands-on IT support role
