Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Barclay Simpson Security is exclusively partnering with a Global business looking to recruit a Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join the Global Information Security team.
As the Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM), y ou will lead a team of Information Security professionals across operations and development, and own the overall IAM strategy and roadmap.

This senior leadership role provides clear strategic direction and support to CISO to meet IAM objectives. As the Head of IAM, you will set and monitor IAM security compliance and have oversight of risk management to comply with UK Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy and standard requirements.

About you?

• Strong experience working in Information Security or Infrastructure Security
  
• Broad knowledge of essential identity & access management areas, including Identity, Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Authentication (AuthN), Directories and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) in an enterprise environment and experience with IAM tooling
  
• Experience in people management and leading technical teams, in an IAM leadership role
  
• Understanding of industry security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ISF
  
• Experience with stakeholder engagement, demand management, and roadmap development
  
• Strong leadership and people management skills
  
• Professional information security certifications like CISSP or CISM would be highly desirable.
  
• Experience working in cloud environments would be highly desirable.
  

Location: Manchester

• • The role is based in Manchester with a hybrid working policy.
• • You would be required to go into the office one to two days a week
