About the role

We're looking for a hands on Data Engineer with a deep understanding of PL/SQL and ETL to join our delivery teams working on some of the most critical and rewarding technology programmes around.
You will be based at our Leeds Engineering Centre with flexible hybrid working options.

Our solutions combine large scale data exploitation, intelligence grade security and complex solutions integration. We provide services to many sectors including Central and International Governments, Financial Services, Defence, Space and Telecommunications.

What you'll be doing

You'll work on a variety of projects - both large and small - working collaboratively with people both in your teams and the wider business, to deliver well designed, testable and efficient code. You will bring an open mind in your approach, wanting to find the right tools and solutions for the problem in hand.

About you

You'll be proficient with SQL/PLSQL and will have demonstrable experience of successfully designing and implementing data migration and post production reviews from Oracle or another relational database. You'll be familiar with a variety of methodologies and tools such as Scrum/ Agile/ XP/ Kanban.

You will also have experience of:

• Debugging data issues
• Performance tuning and indexing
• Data migration

Security Clearance is required for this role, if you are not currently Security Cleared, you will need to be eligible for this and willing to go through the clearance process.
