We are currently seeking to recruit a Program Manager reporting to the International Fast Jet Simulation portfolio lead. Leading Military Simulation Programs throughout their entire life cycle; consisting of program pursuit, bid submission, program execution, delivery and acceptance.
The International Fast Jet Simulation program team is part of the Simulation Solutions & Services Business Unit located in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, UK.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for successful program execution from program pursuit to delivery and acceptance
  • Act as pursuit capture lead working across all functional units to ensure program requirements are understood
  • As the pursuit capture lead ensure timely submission of fully costed accurate bid submission
  • Ability to negotiate with the customer to win new business based on bid submission
  • Lead an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to ensure successful program execution and delivery
  • Robust program planning and scheduling
  • Full financial control and reporting of program finances
  • Proactive risk management approach to program execution
  • Adherence to all program Statement of Work and commercial requirements
  • Ability to negotiate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of all required program resources
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong customer relationship, including customer site visits
  • Adherence to Collins internal program management process
  • Ability to participate in quality audits as may be required
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in appropriate discipline, with appropriate proven experience. In the absence of a bachelor's degree, extensive proven experience
  • Proven experience to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix organisation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in simulation program management
  • Knowledge of the simulation industry and associated products
  • Strong teamwork orientation
  • Well organised and able to communicate effectively with all internal team members and customers
