Job description
Roles and responsibilities
To work as part of the Engagement Finance Champions team, supporting the capabilities across a range of areas, including:
Process and administration queries and requests which are outside the scope of EXL and other Finance support teams, using the team's workflow management system to log and track queries through to resolution.
Develop a high-level understanding of EFC processes for the business areas being supported.
Support the management and review of liquidity and WIP reporting, highlighting and following up on risk and billing opportunities, meeting with Engagement Managers and Engagement Leaders to discuss billing actions, and escalating underperformance, where necessary.
Work with key stakeholders to ensure EPs and EMs fully understand the lock-up cycle and how to deliver against their lock-up targets.
Be the subject matter expert for engagement-related performance questions from engagement teams, ensuring training and education opportunities are fulfilled.
Be an advocate for change programmes delivered by Finance / KBS, including automation tools, self-service, standardisation and any other changes in ways of working.
Support EFC management team in all matters relating to Finance, including compliance and education around relevant Finance-related processes and policies, escalating deviations, where necessary.
Keep team Knowledgebases and process documentation up to date.
Take on some training/mentoring responsibilities for junior and new members of the team.
