Lead QLIK Developer- Salary ranges from £35,000 - £55,000
Location: Norwich preferable, but flexible on location

We are currently in the market for a vastly experienced lead QLIK Developer to join the business on a permanent basis.

You will be joining a high performing team at the heart of the Personal Lines (PL) business, as part of the UKGI Data & Analytics function we enable informed decisions through the provision of quality and timely MI using the latest in business intelligence software.

Ideally we would prefer you to be based out of Norwich, but we are happy to consider people that are UK based and willing to travel to Norwich when required.

A bit about the job:

You will work alongside a team of experienced Qlik developers creating self-service applications in Qlik Sense. As one of our Lead Developers you will work end to end on a problem/opportunity covering; requirement gathering, solution design, data extraction, transformation, visualisation, and deployment. You will regularly engage with both input providers and consumers, managing your time and expectations through forward planning.

We are looking for an inquisitive, experienced problem solver with a Performance MI background. You have a track record in leading data driven solutions, you're self-driven and comfortable making decisions on your own. You thrive off the challenge of taking something from concept all the way through to delivery.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Experience developing BI solutions in Qlik Sense/QlikView
  • An expert in database design and data transformation, supported by ETL processes
  • Script writing expertise essential with SQL or equivalent and maintaining coding standards and best practice of database structure
  • Delivering high-quality solutions using Agile methodology
  • Working with business users to define problems and to shape and deploy appropriate solutions
