This is a large, award winning and well-known Top-50 UK based law firm with multiple offices spread across the country. The firm are very well known or having an excellent professional indemnity team, and are looking to further grow their department with an indemnity lawyer, ideally specializing in construction, at above 5 years PQE.

Your new role
The professional indemnity team undertake a broad range of mostly contentious work. This includes defending claims against a wide variety of professional service providers, insurance policy coverage; insurance and reinsurance disputes; and claims relating to construction, property damage, cyber and aviation. Your main responsibilities will include the proactive management of cases with limited supervision, assisting the partners with their caseloads, preparing detailed and technical reports, correspondence and court documents, and advising clients in relation to issues of liability and coverage.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you are at least 5 years PQE and have gained a range of experience relating to professional indemnity, and ideally an element of construction work. If you have less experience than five years, but solid understanding of professional indemnity and construction work, you will also be invited to apply. You must have a good understanding of insurance and/or construction, commercial or professional litigation.
