Role: Lead HR Analyst (Flexible & home working options)

Location: Remote Working/UK Wide Opportunities. Candidates need the flexibility to visit one of our UK sites if required e.g. Harlow, Glenrothes, Manchester, Broughton, Gloucester etc

Reports to: HR Operations Manager

Summary of Role

This role will provide leadership and line management to the HR Analyst team, ensuring that customer service and performance excellence is delivered to high standards.

Main Duties:
  • Provide line management, development and allocation of tasks to a team of HR Analysts
  • Act a point of escalation from the HR Analyst team for complex queries, providing best practice guidance
  • Evaluating the support provided by the Analyst team to the Centres of Excellence (talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation & benefits and OE) by ensuring workflow / activity is managed throughout the Employee Life Cycle
  • Prepare and maintain a suite of HR metrics required for the Key Performance Indicators in the HR Function
  • Act as a subject matter expert on HR data/metrics and work on continuous improvement activity in this area
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert in terms of HR systems and as the key contact for the wider HR function
  • Ensuring working relationships are maintained with systems contacts in the wider business (primarily RTX)
  • During periods of peak workload, supporting the Advisor team by liaising with managers to deal with complex ER issues / cases (disciplinary, grievances, capability, appeals) from start to finish
  • Escalate issues to the HR Operations Manager
  • Actively involved in business project activity e.g TUPE
  • Lead on-boarding & offboarding activities to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead on wider functional continuous improvement activities e.g benchmarking and refreshing HR Policy
  • Ensuring the HR function and wider business is compliant in terms of migrant workers and the associated processes
  • Adhere to HR policies, governance, process and procedures
Candidate Requirements

Essential:
  • Experience of leading and developing teams;
  • Experience of providing ER advice across the business;
  • Experience of developing and implementing key performance indicators
  • Experience of analysing data from various sources and providing metrics via a report/view point to provide evidence based decision-making
  • Experience of collaborating with colleagues in order to achieve the best results
  • Ability to spot opportunities for improvement and implement changes;
  • An understanding of UK employment legislation;
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and ability to influence;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Work experience in a similar role.
Desirable:
  • Experience of working in a matrix-type organisation
  • A CIPD, degree or other relevant qualification
  • Proven track record of managing complex ER cases
  • Knowledge of global mobility within HR
