A bit about a job:
Your key responsibility will be to manage the financial position of the Portfolio, monitoring funding releases, under / overspends and identifying any trends or themes that may hinder delivery. Provide air traffic control across the ACS CIO and Group Portfolio, putting appropriate actions in place to resolve / address any issues that may impact delivery as well as plan and mobilise Technology priorities, coordinating teams and deliverables to drive meaningful outputs to aid decisions making. You will also sponsor and lead the change of current processes, clearing blockages and support where needed.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Excellent engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to use positive influence and challenge to build trust and agree the best way forward with Senior Stakeholders and Peers across transformation ensuring each party feels involved / consulted in decisions
  • Ability to produce executive level outputs, such as QBR inputs, ExCo papers, Board papers where required
  • Positive can-do attitude and strong collaboration skills, focused on the right outcomes for Aviva and a strong sense of accountability
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage high volumes and multiple deadlines, prioritising deliverables and providing steer and guidance to the rest of the team
  • Ability to manage and coach junior members of the team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure high quality deliverables and outputs are constantly achieved
