Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to add to our growing Supply Chain function. The role reports directly to the Supplier Performance Manager and works closely with Delivery Assurance, Technical Support and Supplier Quality amongst other supporting departments.

The ideal candidate will draw from extensive Supply Chain skills to provide support for internal and external customers, ensuring supplier performance meets the current and future business and customer objectives. The candidate will communicate with all levels of the organisation; have business acumen to immediately connect contractual, operational, sourcing, and technical concerns that may impact a supplier's ability to perform; and be able to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage Supply Chain issues, providing clear, accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in constraint management and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Be accountable for facilitating the resolution of problems with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and to deliver resolutions to complex supplier issues and drive systemic lessons learned.
  • Form working partnerships with Engineering, Operations, Technical Support and other key stakeholders to ensure Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is executed correctly and on time.
  • Support the Business Strategy in the development and implementation of Supplier Strategies, Projects and Processes to improve quality, cost and delivery performance.
  • Administer new and existing contracts for suppliers including measurement of performance obligations.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans for poorly performing suppliers.
  • Stakeholder for supplier nomination process.
  • Supply Chain focal for Continuous Improvement (CORE) activities involving supply and demand for Spares.
  • Identifies and implements closure of gaps in key processes.
  • Adheres to technical and export regulation as per required compliance.
  • Compile and present both issue status and improvement activities relating to part supply at monthly PDM
  • Use leading KPI metrics to identify and then drive improvement activities.
  • Visit suppliers for account reviews - required level of travel anticipated
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher is preferable.
  • Ideally, 10+ years' experience within Supply Chain teams and preferably in the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Relentless Root Cause Analysis, Data Analysis, SAP.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point).
  • Good communicator, both verbally and written.
This position may involve access to export controlled information and hardware where an export license would be required for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Employment will be subject to satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and if required, completion of a non-disclosure agreement .
