As a Data Architect, your main responsibilities would be: 
•    Update all required FN technical and security documentation as required 
•    Attendance at technical, Security and governance Working Groups as required to implement the technical and security outcomes of projects. Liaise with solution and technical architects to review any ILR/FCRs or solution designs as appropriate to ensure they are secure in line with the relevant accreditation principles.
•    Review and recommend actions based on ITHC reports, overseeing their implementation and advising on risks management
•    Construct and manage any Risk Balance Cases ensuring the risk profiles are reviewed on a monthly basis, providing a report to the FN TL and SRO on mitigation progress and any remaining actions to close down the RBC.

You’ll have relevant experience in:
•    Working with internal MOD and external 3rd Parties.
•    Design and delivery of complex MOD and Public network solutions.
•    The design, development, test and implementation of Firewalls.
•    MOD security standards and Policies, JSP 440, and JSP 604.
•    Understanding of analogue and digital telecommunications networks.
•    Self-starter and ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
•    The ability to chair and manage key security checkpoints, workshops and security stakeholder working groups.
•    Working within a Military Environment.
•    Cyber security and IT risks.
•    Delivering Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks

Desirable:
•    Have knowledge and experience of working with HMG Approved Crypto 
•    Have experience of delivering projects through MODs JSP604
•    Have knowledge and experience of delivering cyber monitoring systems
•    Experience working with Cisco, Juniper Networks, Endace Systems.
