Hays Technology are currently recruiting for a collection of experienced Information Security (GRC) Consultants, Senior Consultants and Principal Consultants. The role is to work for a large engineering and design organisation in the rail industry.
The role will be focused around providing risk and governance consultancy to this organisation's rail clients surrounding Operational Technology & SCADA.
Ideally, we're looking for candidates who are both rail focused and cyber security focused with a strong OT systems background.

The role will be focused around providing risk and governance consultancy to this organisation's rail clients surrounding Operational Technology & SCADA.
Ideally, we're looking for candidates who are both rail focused and cyber security focused with a strong OT systems background.
Your new role will involve
- Working with client organisations to coordinate and set their cyber and risk requirements, providing oversight through various project and asset lifecycles and implementations
- Sometimes working on client sites, acting as a cyber-SME to coordinate and make sure security risks are assessed, and completing relevant documentation regarding implementations and safety
- Using the SCADA 62443 standard for Operational Technology to complete cyber risk assessments for projects and asset management
- Client and stakeholder engagement
For Senior/Principal Consultant positions:
- Leading and contributing to the delivery of high-quality multi-disciplined technical advice and consultancy to clients.
- Supporting with team leadership responsibilities (KPI's, business metrics, developing business plans etc.)
What you'll need to succeed
- Risk experience within the rail industry
- Knowledge of Train Control Systems, SCADA systems or Telecoms networks and how they are used in railways and rolling stock would be ideal
- Experience delivering cyber and risk consultancy to clients
- Experience completing risk assessments throughout full project lifecycles
- Experience within one of the following sectors or technologies: Cyber Security in Operational Technology environments, Rail Telecommunication systems and/or European Train Control System (ETCS), Communications Based Train Control (CBTC), Traffic Management System (TMS), Railway Signalling, Control Systems, or Operational Control.
- For Senior/Principal Consultant positions: Team leadership experience, proven experience leading multi-disciplinary security projects
