Role: Programme Manger
Location: must be willing to travel onsite regularly, and with Hybrid working options available

Summary of Role:
Raytheon UK Mission Intelligence is looking for a dynamic, driven, and experienced programme manager, to take a leading role in both tender and delivery of strategically important and complex programmes. The PM will also be responsible for securing contract growth and expanding Raytheon's position in the Defence sector.

Reporting to the Head of Mission Intelligence, the Programme Manager will be required to work collaboratively with customers, internal stakeholders and industry partners alike. Delivering complex programmes will need the PM to draw on strong delivery and leadership experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment which requires quick thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

The main duties of the role are to:
•Taking a Leading role in the capture team, through the bid and negotiation phases of programmes up to contract award and into delivery.
• Lead, manage and successfully deliver all contractual requirements within agreed budgets and to performance standards.
•Provide direction and leadership to cross-functional programme teams
•Promote Programme Management Excellence (PMX) best practice and lead by example to instil flawless programme execution behaviours and processes
•Conduct a regular tempo of downwards and upwards programme governance engagements with live and emerging projects and programmes.
• Contribute to contract growth
• Lead and provide governance for both Waterfall style and Scaled Agile programmes including facilitation of ceremonies
•Develop, coach and mentor more junior team members.
•Develop strong collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders within the Customer, strategic Partners, an ecosystem of Suppliers and across Raytheon to develop a shared vision, meet commitments and further the interests of the Product Line.
• Act as a member of the Mission Intelligence senior leadership team.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Programme Execution and Growth within Mission Intelligence
•Actively promote diversity, equity and inclusion and focus on delivering against our shared social and environmental responsibility mandate.
•Work with our commercial partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term strategic positioning for future opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:
• Successful track record in delivering complex and multifaceted programmes, including Scaled Agile
•Experienced in working within partnering environments in a prime contractor role, alongside the customer and other contract delivery contractors.
•Experienced in leading large multi-disciplined teams over geographically dispersed sites.
• Experienced in working in high pressure tender environments including experience in bid writting
• Strong commercial, financial and performance management skills
•Highly experienced user of industry standard project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Defence Experience
•Current holder of, or eligibility to obtain, SC MOD security clearance.#
