Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the OTC Manager, the role will support the wider Finance team deliver a quality accounting service whilst ensuring our strong financial controls are maintained. You will be expected to interact directly with senior contacts across the business. The role also provides support to other colleagues within the team where required on a variety of tasks such as continuous improvement and governance activities.

Key Tasks

• Identify outstanding account receivables and clearing down customer accounts

• Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments and investigate historical data for debts and bills

• Query management and resolution on payment issues (dispute invoices)

• Responsible for SOA (customer statement) and ensure customer contact details are updated

• Prepare and present reports reconciliations on collection activities and progress (Weekly/Monthly)

• To understand end-end AR cash & allocation activities that yet to be performed such as (dunning, legal, balance confirmation and etc.)

• Support and attend on debtor meetings with stakeholders (Weekly/Monthly)

• Cash allocation and application on customer deduction/Overpayment resolution ownership including problem solving, research, analysis, and independent decision making

• Understand the impact of short payment, WHT (withholding tax) or payment that not related to the trade debtors

• To support TL or manager in any tasks related to project or migration activity

Key Requirement

• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience

• Intermediate level Excel skills and ERP systems - SAP is preferred

• Contribute to a culture of excellence across the Financial Operations community

• Vigilant approach to problem solving and great attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
