As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a MRO Buyer/Planner in our business located in Leighton Buzzard.
The successful candidate can expect to:

• Place & manage purchase orders for materials
• Monitor status of incoming purchase orders
• Expedite urgent requirements
• Create and monitor MRO outside processing orders
• Advise on recovery of shortages to customer orders
• Facilitate integration of new designs into inventory
• Determine appropriate initial stocking levels for special/new programs
• Validate correct parts are called out for repairs
• Periodic review of Excess & Obsolete inventory
• Keep lead times aligned to supplier commitments
• Periodic ABC analysis for material planning
• Maintain ramp rates & buffer stock for changes in demand
• Run & Monitor metrics to target problem area

What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:

• Experience working within a busy procurement department.
• MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) packages.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
