As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Picker Packer in our Seating business located in Havant, England.

The successful candidate can expect to:
  • Liaise with final Inspection for parts coming through to Despatch.
  • Liaise with the production Supervisors of all areas to ensure you know what past are being despatched and when.
  • Ensure all parts are bagged and tagged with bag labels and that the serial numbers on the units match the serial numbers on the bags.
  • Check the live sales order reports and ERP system (IMS) to see what parts are due to ship and whether we have stock in FG or coming through Final inspection to be despatched.
  • Book in the works orders to finished goods ensuring you have the correct qty of units as detailed on the route card.
  • Raise the delivery notes against the live sales orders and ensure the serial numbers are logged on the delivery note and that they match that of the route card.
  • Ensure any parts not being shipped are booked into a location within the Finished Good Store and make sure they are physically taken to that location.
  • Liaise with a Member of the QA team to ensure the C off C is signed off.
  • Pack all parts in appropriate packing or in its own individual packing materials.
  • Ensure all boxes ready for shipping are made available to the couriers for collection at the times of collection.
  • Provide tracking information on request and liaise with the Couriers and Customers import and export teams where required to do so and assist on failed shipments stuck in the system.
  • Collate all production paperwork and despatch notes ready for Scanning and archiving.
  • Assist with Cycle counts on a weekly basis as instructed.
  • Ensure good Housekeeping at all time and that the despatch office and Finished Goods store are kept neat and tidy at all times.
  • Liaise with the purchasing team and the supplier to ensure we have adequate Packing materials on site at all time and that they are stored in an appropriate manor.

What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
  • Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team.
  • Basic understanding if Microsoft Office to include Office, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Working within a fast pace environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal.
