Base location is flexible across KPMG's offices.

The team:
Clara Digital Studio (CDS) are dedicated to building products in close collaboration with the Audit function.
 
We focus on driving increased efficiency and revenue by rethinking business processes and introducing digital technology solutions. We use Agile practices to ensure fast delivery of our solutions and allow for rapid and constant change to keep up with market demands.
 
We do this by combining audit expertise with the latest low-code app development technology from Microsoft (MS Power Platform + Azure).
 
As an integral member of the team, you will be working with a talented mix of product managers, solutions architects, cloud architects, cloud engineers and software engineers to build, deliver, and manage products.

Summary of role:
 
The Technical Lead is required to lead all technical aspects of CDS. You will work on some of the most bleeding-edge Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure architectures in development today. The right candidate will be highly experienced in product development and have demonstrated balance between technical mastery, coaching and developing technical teams and leadership.
 
About you:
  • A passion for technology and drive to build enterprise systems.
  • In depth experience across multiple core areas of Power Platform.
  • Solid understanding of design practices and system architecture, and have contributed to creating reference architecture and standards towards security best practises for wider engineering usage
  • Should have experience of conducting design and code reviews
  • Experience applying organisation's security strategy across multiple teams
  • Strong communication skills along with ability to lead a team towards a great product
  • General knowledge of automation / technology landscape to manage business processes
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
 
Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design and implement complex enterprise-scale integrated solutions, adopting various technologies
  • Take end-to-end ownership of shaping solutions & defining the right architectural approach based on the needs of our stakeholders
  • Support estimation, planning and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure our solutions are built to reflect the needs of the business whilst making the best use of current development practices
  • Maintain technical relationships with stakeholders and technology partners
  • Be a trusted technology adviser to our stakeholders as well as your colleagues
  • Adhere to and promote KPMG values.
  • Be a role model and advocate of best practices in CDS, and mentor junior team members
  • Have strong self-motivation and teamwork skills, with the ability to build momentum and pivot if needed
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse set of teams and broad stakeholder group, both internally and externally
  • Foster effective collaboration in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Champion Agile practices, and empower your product teams to deliver solutions of the highest quality
  • Adhere to and promote Information Security related processes, procedures, and role-based responsibilities 
  • Continuous learning on current and future technology roadmaps (staying relevant)
  • Carry out serious research when evaluating and verifying options
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other parts of our internal technology functions
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, team members, subject matter experts and stakeholders (inc. third parties to assess partnerships where applicable)
  • Understand implications and trade-offs of reliability, scalability, security, operation costs, adoption path recruitments.
  • Represent self, team, and KPMG at external engagements. This could be through speaking at conferences or participate in industry working groups.
 
 
Desired skills and experience
  • Working with global and offshore teams to establish and maintain PowerApps and Power Platform technology.
  • Hands on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutions.
  • Core Skills: Power Apps (Model+Canvas), Dataverse, Power Apps Portals, Power Automate.
  • Nice to have skills: CI/CD, Azure DevOps, RPA; C#, SQL, .Net, D365 CRM, CRM Plugins, PCF Controls, Azure Functions, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Synapse.
