Your new company
After undergoing a 16% growth in staff and having a revenue of over $120 million last year, this international payment solutions company is continuing to expand its presence in Belfast by looking for a senior systems engineer. This company has a focus on doing great things with small teams. Their focus is on upskilling and enabling company wide collaboration so that you can learn everything you need for the job and continue to grow your skillset beyond that point by learning from those around you.

Your new role
This role will see you leading and contributing to significant projects, utilising cutting edge security tools and working alongside other experienced engineers. You will be the lead on tech such as antivirus, application whitelisting, HIDS, NIDS and SIEM. You will also work across security orchestration for the company and deal with automation platforms on an enterprise level. This role will give you great exposure, seeing you work across the design phase of their new products and features, conducting threat modelling and security architecture.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have a good level of experience within information security and has gained a security or networking qualification such as CCNA or GIAC. You will have extensive, in-depth experience with IDS/IPS Firewalls, SIEM, Enterprise Anti-Malware solutions, DLP, Vulnerability Assessment tools, Compliance tools and FIM. You will have preferably worked with PAM platforms such as CyberArk, Centrify or Thycotic. A strong understanding of secure architecture will also go a long way in this role, as well as a working knowledge of Security Industry standards and best practice.

What you'll get in return
The company has a fantastic benefits package, with a focus on working from home. This means they give you a monthly allowance along with a onetime payment to accommodate your WFH needs, along with guidance on WFH tax relief. You will also receive benefits such as Life Assurance (4x salary), private medical insurance and a flexible holidays package. This is on top of a competitive salary and joining an inclusive and supportive global team.
