IT Security Assurance Lead Hays are working in partnership with a national insurance company with offices across the UK. The role sits within the IT Architecture team, working with various teams to assess and advice on security and data risks within the organisation.
Hybrid working pattern with one day a week in the Ryon Hill office (just outside of Stratford-Upon-Avon office).

Your Purpose:
As IT Security Assurance Lead, you'll drive the maturing Cyber Security function and monitor effective risk management activities across the IT Security Service.

• Use your expertise to develop IT security controls, enhance the privileged access management approach by analysing information and processes and support board level reporting.
• Manage and mitigate risk exposure, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Your experience:

• Managing teams and projects within an IT security environment
• Confidently perform risk and control-based reviews within the security space
• Have a good understanding of ISO 27001 and/or other security standards such as ISF Standard of Good Practice and NIST frameworks
• Recognised Information Security certification, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC, to support practitioner experience (desirable)
• Management of Risk qualification at certificate level or similar risk management accreditation, or equivalent industry experience, such as CRISC (security related desirable)
