Fire & Security Engineer Soham, Cambridge GBP28,000pa to GBP32,000pa DOE Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm Our client, a busy Fire and Security company, based on the outskirts of Ely is seeking a full time permanent Fire & Security Engineer. The position is open to both skilled candidates and those who are looking for a step up from a junior role. You will be installing new systems such as CCTV systems, Fire alarm systems, Control systems for clients such as carehomes, school etc so is essential that you either have a valid DBS or happy for this to be carried out. For the right candidate there would be on the job training and in house training and coaching. Then we would consider external training courses for Health and Safety, working at height (where required), manufactures training and skill enhancement training. FIA fire training etc. Due to the nature of the position you will require a full UK drivers licence to drive the company van. What you will be doing: Install & service fire alarm systems, security alarm systems & emergency lighting systems Attend system fault calls. Inform the office immediately of any major failures or site problems. Accurate training and handover of systems to clients Ensure all necessary paperwork is obtained and processed promptly Providing an exceptional customer experience To build and maintain strong client relationships Complete maintenance engineers reports. Complete van stock & can condition reports Assist other departments when required.
