Role: Software Asset Management
Location: Hybrid - needed onsite when work dictates being onsite
Rate: £350 Per day Outside IR35
Duration: 4 Months initially

Hays Technology is looking for a Software Asset Manager to join their Public Sector client's team.

What you will be doing:

Knowledge and experience related to the role, the main objective for this candidate will be to review and remove all end of support, end of extended support and end of life software from across our estate. There will also be a requirement to support with understanding our Asset management processes as is as well as where we need it to be and CSI on these processes. As part of cyber essentials, we need to remove and upgrade software across our whole estate We also need all our hardware assets checking and recorded We also need processes to be created too

Must Have - Experience

• Experience of Software Asset Management
• Knowledge of Snow SAM product
• Experience of working with mobile/laptop devices / InTune / Endpoint management
• Knowledge of Office 365 / Azure AD/ Active Directory / Exchange /M365
• Experience of remote worker support
• Able to identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications & hardware issues

Must Have - Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent software asset management skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft InTune / Endpoint Management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 10 and Office365
• Excellent knowledge of Azure AD/ Active Directory / Exchange /M365
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
