Role Profile

Requirements

• MUST: Good understanding of Modern Object Orientated Programming Concepts
• MUST: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with regular customer interaction
• MUST: Willing to travel (within UK)
• MUST: Able to obtain security clearance
• MUST: Experience writing applications in OOP Languages (e.g. Java, Kotlin, C#)

Desired Competencies

• Professional experience using the Android security, including MDM related technologies
• Experience of automated testing (UI Automator and Espresso) and Kotlin test frameworks
• Previous experience working as part of an Agile tea
• Experience of developing applications using the Android Device Management and/or Know APIs (or equivelant)
• Experience of the Android Open Source Project or working with custom ROMs

Entry Requirements

Previous relevant industry experience preferred (i.e. previous internship, work experience or placement)

Travel

Please note, you may be required to work on client sites, which are away from your base location - this can be for an extended period of time. In this instance, all travel and expenses costs will be covered. If you have concerns about this; please speak to your recruitment contact.

Security Clearance

Only those with the permanent and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK will be considered for a position within BAE Systems Applied Intelligence.
