Information Security Manager
Permanent Salary: Between £65,000 and £75,000 per annum (negotiable)
Location: Leeds
Working Arrangement: Relaxed Hybrid - Office attendance as and when required

Your new company
I'm currently looking for an Information Security Manager to join an innovative Leeds based technology organisation who provide a valuable service for government departments and private sector businesses.

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining organisational security in line with ISO27001 certifications and Cyber Essentials + frameworks, with a level of technical awareness surrounding Microsoft Azure.

Your new role will involve

• Reporting into the Group IT Director, managing Technology risks and audits
• Maintaining ISO27001 certification, CE + frameworks and more
• 3rd party governance risk and compliance works (supplier assessments, new and existing business)
• Partnering with wider business units and driving the information security strategy across the business
• Monitoring internal Information Security controls
• Continuously maintaining and enhancing ISMS
• Information security assurance (suppliers, internal IT teams)
• Fostering a risk aware culture among stakeholders and across the organisation
• Working in collaboration with the compliance team on internal and external audits
• Working alongside a Managed Service Security Provider across various realms of security
• Assisting with the implementation of various security tools with help from Managed Service provider
• Ensuring security is considered from conception to implementation of all new projects, programmes, and implementations

What you'll need to succeed

• A pragmatic and business solution-oriented approach to security
• Experience maintaining organisational Security in line with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials +
• Experience inputting into a security strategy and owning its implementation
• Technical awareness of Microsoft Azure based security
• Experience within a similar information security position
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management ability
• A maintained knowledge of contemporary information security best practices
