Your new job working as a senior Energy broking technician means you will be working for a S specialist Global Insurance and Reinsurance broker In the City, who offer international reinsurance facilities in all classes of insurance and providing broking support to direct clients, They have re invested and developed into a specialist global insurance and reinsurance broker, building on its expertise and enhancing this with capabilities in global multi-class insurance and reinsurance broking in emerging and developed countries, power and renewable energy, healthcare, private client, cyber solutions, financial institutions and credit and political risk. A new opportunity has arisen within their Energy division for a Senior Energy Broking Technician to work closely with the Brokers

Your new role
Your new role working as a senior broking technician will be handling Energy, Power & Renewable risks, where you will be responsible for all the technical insurance aspects of the EP&R business. This will involve in the broking placement and administration of clients and prospective clients in the EP&R sector. Your duties will include producing all broking and client documentation. You will also deal with the multi class technical administration of transactional broking. MRC slip production, premium worksheet, well control formulas, market presentations, cover notes, wordings, closings, invoicing, mid-term adjustments, declarations and related technical and claims support. You will be responsible for the multi class broking of reinsurance, wholesale and retail clients to international, London and Lloyd's reinsurers, insurers and MGA's, as well as producing appropriate management information to monitor the broking and technical activities.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a broking technician handling International Energy risks either Power and renewable or Oil and Gas, will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will ideally be CERT CII qualified or working towards. With good knowledge of the London insurance market dealing with Energy risks. You will have experience with MRC slip production and dealing with technical documentation. You will be self motivated, ability to work on your own in the absence of the MD and to work with colleagues as part of the overall team and wider Group.
