Up to £45,000k + Excellent Benefits

The role

As an Senior Application Support, you will perform technical support (2nd /3rd line), configuration and development for strategic enterprise technologies. This will include IT service areas and ITIL practices such as Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Capacity, Availability, Event, Knowledge and Asset Management. You will be expected to supervise team members across several IT Services and be an escalation point for technical queries.

You will be our expert in at least one IT service area and perform the role of a service lead in one of the following areas: Enterprise Applications (e.g. CRM/Web/ERP), Business Applications (e.g. ERP, ITSM), and sector-specific/bespoke Applications.

Further, as the Senior Application Analyst, you will collaborate closely with colleagues at all levels on complex technical subjects across functions such as IT Operations, Cyber Security (SOC), Enterprise Architecture and Change/Project Management taking an active and hands-on part in operation and change, including those supporting the digital strategy.

Your profile

  • Experience supporting and developing web-based applications utilising modern development languages and methodologies
  • Any experience using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery, PHP, C#, XML would be advantageous
  • Experience in supporting a broad range of applications within a complex technical environment is essential.
  • Ability to support colleagues with technical queries and advise on best solution.
  • Experience in application support, development, configuration, and integration would be ideal
  • Design/development/administration of databases and integrations experience
  • Any experience with the following technologies would be advantageous but not essential: Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamic CRM and Active Directory.
  • An ITIL awareness would be highly desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues and users
  • Ability to work supportively and collaboratively with colleagues across the Innovation & Technology Services
