Fire and Security Engineer – Plymouth – Salary of up to GBP32,000 per annum (DOE) Fire and Security Engineer Package Overview: Salary of up to GBP32,000 per annum + call outs and overtime Company vehicle, mobile phone, tablet, pension, bonus scheme provided Full–time Permanent Position – Monday to Friday – 40 hour week Excellent progression and training opportunities Covering Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall Taking part in a call out rota – 1 in 5 weeks All levels of experience considered Company Overview – Fire and Security Engineer Our client are currently looking for a Fire and Security Engineer to join their highly valued team on a Full–time, Permanent basis. This is an exciting time for the company and the right candidate for the role will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable with the drive to hit the ground running in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available for them. This is a field based position and you will be working with multiple clients across different sectors. These include both Commercial and Domestic sectors. Some of the services offered within the division are Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarms. Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential as training can be provided. You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively. Fire and Security Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Working in Commercial and Domestic sectors Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on–site. Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team Ensure the company meets it's obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to. Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to other members of the team Installations of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems Fire and Security Engineer Skills and Expertise: A Full UK Driving Licence (essential) A "can do attitude" and an eye on the future. A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities All levels of experience considered Relevant qualifications are desirable such as IPAF, PASMA, ECS, CSCS, FIA's, City & Guilds. A positive attitude and the ability to self–motivate is a must Good product knowledge of the following: C–tec, Kentec, Morley, Advanced, Fike, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, Dahua, Paxton, Menvier, Net2 and more.
