Role: Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Glasgow/North West (Hybrid)

Salary: GBP50,000 – GBP65,000 + bonus & benefits

I am partnered with one of the world's most renowned financial institutions who are continuing to build out their cloud security capabilities by hiring a cloud security engineer. They work with a number of high profile venders and are in need of a cloud engineer to help deploy security tools onto applications.

You will play a vital role in building out, upgrading and patching systems, whilst working with internal as well as external stakeholders to meet their requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, but customer focused cyber professional to work on one of the most complex security teams in Europe.

This role will allow you to:

• Deploy as well as automate security tools in a cloud environment, ideally AWS
• Work closely with venders to develop innovative solutions in modifying and enhancing security products.
• Troubleshooting vender applications as well as remediate a number of complexed security issues

Apply if you have:

• An understanding of networking, including firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS etc.
• Strong customer facing skills and previous experience within customer delivery
• Understanding of key security concepts such as DevOps, information security, incident response etc.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, PowersShell and SQL would be advantageous
