We are recruiting for a Head of IT Business Partnering to provide change leadership, strategic thinking and direction to the General Insurance (GI) Claims business, always with the customer at the forefront.

A bit about the job:

The Head of IT Business Partnering is the senior Technology partner aligning directly to the General Insurance (GI) Claims function and is accountable for end-to-end technology solutions supporting the function.

In this role you will be tasked with developing and maintaining the IT Roadmap, which is aligned to both the Claims and IT strategies and is integrated with the overall Claims Transformation.

The successful applicant will also own service partnerships on behalf of the Claims function, working closely with relevant Service Managers in IT platforms, Infrastructure and Cloud.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Good knowledge of Insurance, markets and products and demonstrable experience of all areas of IT and business change transformation
  • Significant knowledge of insurance processes and supporting technologies with experience establishing consolidated risk focus across end-to-end platforms and applications
  • Extensive leadership experience, skilled in leading virtual teams effectively with ability to work at pace with resiliency.
  • Work in partnership and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, with strong influencing skills to challenge and drive change and lead innovation in the way in which we deliver outcomes.
  • Experience driving proactive Service management / Operational Stability / Operational Resilience

What will you get for this role?
  • Salary National £90,000 - £120,000 - London £100,000 - £130,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
