We are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing organisation who are about to embark on a large digital transformation from On-Prem to Cloud. This is a new role that has been created within a large international business who are at the start of an exciting journey of change.

As this is a new position you'll be able to make an impact straight away and be directly involved in shaping the organisations technology strategy.

Your new role
This is a great opportunity for someone to progress their leadership career within IT, as you'll form part of the senior leadership team creating a strategy and road-map to ensure the organisation's infrastructure estate is fit for the future, as the business continues to grow.

The Head of Infrastructure will play a vital role in supporting the Group IT Director to define and deliver the organisations road-map from On-Prem to Cloud, including advising on the most appropriate Cloud solution for the business, implementing a new ITSM tool and O365, embedding ITIL best practice into the business, and recruiting, training and developing your teams as the organisation adopt new technologies and ways of working.

You will support your direct and indirect reports across Infrastructure, Service Desk, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line Engineers, as your teams grow to support business demands (BAU and projects).



What you'll need to succeed
The Head of Infrastructure will be accountable for delivering reliable solutions for Service Management, Service Desk, Incident, Change and Problem Management, Availability, Capacity and IT Disaster Recovery Management.

You will have experience overseeing a Cloud implementation to draw on your experience(s) and learns to help guide and steer decision making and mitigate potential risks.

You will have exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, able to demonstrate best practice relating to Service Management, Service Delivery, and Infrastructure Management to ensure your teams deliver exceptional customer service. This is not a hands on technical role, however we are looking for someone who can dig into the detail with their technical teams and play an advisory role to the wider technology team to support key project deliverables.

As the Head of Infrastructure you will have previous experience leading teams through change and transformation (technical and business), creating and developing a collaborative, high performing team who support Infrastructure, Networks, Cyber/ Security, Cloud and all other core platforms.

You will be credible, engaging and demonstrate strong leadership qualities to guide your team and the business through a significant period of change.
