Your new role

Working within the Security Operations Centre as an IT Security Analyst your roles and responsibilities would include:

• Handling complex security incidents and events within REHAU's global IT network;
• Supporting colleagues within the SoC team to evaluate threats and formulate responses;
• Helping to develop procedures/playbooks and ensuring their proper execution;
• Driving improvements to our EDR solutions and helping to develop our XDR strategies;
• Working with our external MDR provider on incidents and forensics;
• Utilising various security tools to continually improve the security posture of the company
• Supporting detection and remediation research.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience of working in a security role within a large organisation.
• Experience of working with an EDR solution.
• Sound understanding and experience of network infrastructure and Client Server device technologies;
• A structured and logical approach to problem solving;
• Proven track record of working with integrity, being adaptable and always looking to learn;
• Awareness of security trends and a desire to actively keep up to date with developments;
• Ideally educated to degree standard in Computer Science or related subject;
• Excellent communication skills.
