The role is working for a Global Brand with a reputation that stands for Trust and Reliability

You will be required to work with stake holders across Europe, Middle East and Africa ensuring compliance of data policies and driving change to improve efficiencies.

Raising the profile of the division and you will be the champion of a great Data Protection Culture and assisting the team to deliver GLOBAL Data Privacy Initiatives.

Supporting the annual Plan and keeping the timelines on track within the quarterly and annual cycles across Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

The role is being offer on a hybrid basis and as well as a 35–hour working week they offer flexible start times and an early finish on Fridays.

The opportunity:

Will allow you to support the European Branch Network within data regulations, guidance on internal policies and rules.

  • Facilitating prevention and problem solving of data protection issues and risks within the business.
  • Working on the Email inboxes relating to Data Privacy, fulfilling data subject, rights, requests and responses in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicating effectively on other data breaches within the sector, including data protection regulation, guidance and expectations within the region.
  • Your role will be to support the Data Protections Managers to take action in event of data breaches. Managing the actions within the timescales, reporting to key stakeholders, authorities and regulators within the Sector.
  • You will be, assisting the Head of Risk whilst overseeing and managing their Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Highlighting the risks to data subjects and working with the business to reduce risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects and operation then this would be the perfect opportunity.
  • Software administration and configuration including dashboards and reporting is an advantage, especially One Trust

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to progress their knowledge and understanding, so we are ideally looking for someone who has begun their studying towards a recognised accredited qualification to at least foundation level in Data Protection Act 2018 or the GDPR .

It is also important for candidates to have a good, sound knowledge and working background in data protection; Data Protection Act 2018 and The GDPR across Europe Economic Area states, awareness of privacy across Africa and Middle East would also be useful.
