We are looking for a Data Protections Analyst who is experienced in ensuring ongoing compliance of data protection policies and improving the efficiencies across the European Regions, Africa and the Middle East. You will be passionate about creating and delivering a data protection culture and global data privacy Initiatives and have sound experience in risk management.
Based in the Bracknell Head office on a hybrid basis, you'll be pivotal part of the compliance team helping to ensure the annual plan on data protection is followed and prepared in line with the quarterly and annual cycles. Studying towards a qualification in Data Protection Act 2018 or GDPR is encouraged and welcomed.
The role
In addition to the above, you will also be:
- Providing ongoing support to all the European Branches and entities in region on data protection regulations, related guidance and internal policy & rules
- Raising awareness and training associates
- Have great exposure across the business as you assist the Head of Risk
- Managing the email inboxes related to Data Privacy including fulfilling data subject right requests and responses.
- Communicating information on other company data breaches, including changes to data protection regulation, guidance, and expectations in the region
- Supporting the Data Protection Managers to take appropriate action in the event of data breach within required timescales, including reporting to relevant stakeholders, authorities and regulators.
This role is responsible for all documentation and guidance needed to evidence and ensure understanding & correct operation of processes ensuring compliance with Regional Privacy Policy, regulations and laws, including how and when to report breaches to the regulator.
