Role Purpose

We are looking for a pre and post Sales Solutions Consultant (Cyber Security) to join our growing EMEA team. As a member of both the Technical Sales and Consulting team, this position requires you to be able to; contribute towards and support sales efforts with extensive product knowledge, deliver professional services engagements to customers and act as a subject matter expert within the organisation.

Working with the EMEA sales team, your primary objective is to support new business growth through direct Snare sales, increase close rate on average of all incoming leads, increase/maintain a direct deal size greater than target amount, reduce/maintain days to close, cover business challenges and solutions to our customers/ agencies/partners and foster lasting business relationships through excellent service.

Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:

Pre–Sales

  • Offer a solid expertise and understanding around our software offerings.
  • Understand competitive advantages of Snare and how to position their value to customers.
  • Working with the EMEA sales team, schedule and conduct product demonstrations for customers and partners.
  • Tailor demonstrations to highlight relevant use cases and assist customers in utilising Snare to solve their business problems.
  • Own & deliver technical solutions/responses to sales opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Assist customers with Proof–of–Concept (POC) trails of Snare software. Working with sales teams to create relevant documentation that outlines the timeline, key objectives and success criteria of the POC.
  • Maintain Snare demonstration environment for testing new & existing features/capabilities and performing demonstrations to customers & partners.

Post Sales & Support

  • Deliver post sales consulting in the form of QuickStart's, customer training & project–based implementation requirements.
  • Create Statement of Work (SOW) documents in collaboration with customers & sales team, detailing the scope of work to be completed where productised deliverables are not available.
  • Administer internal systems to track progress of post sales consulting activity and delivery.
  • Operate as a support escalation where required to assist customers.

Regional Development/Initiatives

  • Participate in, develop, and deliver marketing events/ activities and campaigns in collaboration with market and partners.
  • Participate in, develop, and deliver initiatives that help drive growth in collaboration with the regional team.

The candidate

  • Be a passionate and compelling speaker that communicates the value of Snare and the Prophecy products to prospective customers.
  • Support the development of excellent customer service/relationships in your role.
  • Be confident in consulting on cyber security best practices & challenges with technical architects from globally recognised organisations.
  • Keep abreast of the cyber threat landscape, new technological advancements and any compliance/regulatory/framework requirements that can affect Snare customers.
  • Constantly looking for ways to improve capabilities and/or processes that can provide value to Prophecy and our customers.
  • Identify areas of support, resource, and training that you require.
  • Assist the Prophecy group in achieving its financial goals and objectives.
  • Conduct business in a manner that is always consistent with the company's policies.
  • Defer to the company objectives whenever you find yourself individually conflicted.
  • Assist in all other activities as required or requested.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • 3–5 years' experience working within the IT industry.
  • Experience of multi–layered cyber security deployments (endpoint, server, application, network), networking (architectures and topologies), infrastructure (physical/virtualised, storage, backup & DR) and system administration (Windows & Linux platforms).
  • Knowledge of working with SIEM or logging infrastructure, e.g. Splunk QRadar, LogRhythm, etc.
  • Support sales efforts with extensive product knowledge, answering questions and demonstrating product.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill and a demonstrable ability to work with enterprise organisations and build client relationships.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Solid organisational skills, including strong multitasking and time–management skills.
  • Current knowledge around technical advancements and a desire to continually learn new processes.
  • Ensuring the customers objectives are elicited, captured, understood, and delivered against.
  • Securing input from all necessary solution stakeholders both internally and within the client group.

Highly Desirable:

  • Hold a Security+, CISSP, Malware Analysis, CySA+ certificate(s).

  • Exposure to Cloud Computing platforms and technologies, i.e. AWS, Azure, OCI.

  • Security knowledge as it relates to enterprise application deployment and regulatory requirements (ISO27001, GDPR, PCI etc ).

    NB: Competitive salary + commission package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    Willingness to travel where required.
