Your new role
The IT Manager will be responsible for development and management of the business IT infrastructure and support services. This will include aligning the business's IT infrastructure with that of the current and future business requirements and objectives. Development and centralisation of IT systems and process. Strategic development of IT capacity, ensuring services are fit for purpose and support future development. Safeguarding the business regarding any cyber-security matters.
Your responsibilities
To be responsible for the development, leadership, and continual improvement of the IT service across the business and its multiple sites. This is to ensure the IT service aligns with business needs and those of all internal and external individuals. Proven IT Manager Leadership experience, demonstrating success in previous roles. Demonstrable knowledge of current technologies and best practice, including Routing, WAN, VLAN, MDM including Intune, Cloud Identity Management including Azure AD / Office 365, Firewalls, Cyber Security Compliance including Cyber Essentials Plus and Experience of cloud-based architecture.

What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience of managing IT provision with an organisation (preferably in an educational setting).
- Experience of managing a team Experience of working at a Leadership level Proven track record of IT project management and change management.
- Demonstrable knowledge of current technologies and best practice - Networking including Routing, WAN, VLAN.
- MDM including Intune.
- Cloud Identity Management including Azure AD / Office 365.
- Firewalls Cyber Security Compliance including Cyber Essentials Plus.
- ITSM systems.
- Managing Phone Systems.
- Content based internet filtering.
- Experience of cloud-based architecture.
- Knowledge of backup software and restore.
