Your new role
  • You will be leading, managing and mentoring an IT team to deliver
  • Managing and maximise the ICT budgets and ensuring that they are allocated appropriately.
  • Ensure appropriate selection, purchase, and installation of equipment via liaison with suppliers and users.
  • Work with the Marketing and IT Director and Heads of Service to design and deliver a strategic IT plan that targets the company's strategic objectives particularly business development.
  • Promote the development of team members, keeping their skills and knowledge up to date and driving their continual professional development.
  • Actively seek industry trends and best practice to identify opportunities to enhance the digital environment.
  • Manage transition of projects into live service.
  • Liaise with managers across the organisation.
  • provide regular reports on unblocking and mitigating issues and risks.



What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in managing and leading IT teams, preferably within SME environment.
  • Must hold an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) qualification.
  • Knowledge of Cyber/Information security legislations.
  • All-round knowledge of the contemporary IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and IT Director and Heads of Service to design and deliver a strategic IT plan that underpins the company's strategic objectives particularly business development
  • Degree level or equivalent in network management, computer programming languages or a related field.
  • knowledge of HR processes for managing people and teams
  • Great communication Skills.
  • Ability to work well with others, but also with the self-discipline and stamina to work alone.
  • People management skills, in particular motivating and encouraging others, coaching, and mentoring, adaptable communication style, managing conflict, giving feedback, etc
  • Desire to extend skills as required and keep up to date with developments in new technology and software;
