Your Role:

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be joining a global team where you will design and implement network security technologies. You will help shape and determine security policies and procedures creating efficiencies around logging, correlation, and auditing capabilities and will troubleshoot issues down to packet decode level. Tasks will involve Firewalls, Proxies, IPS, Remote Access and Site-to-Site VPNs, Two-Factor Authentication, Wireless Networking, Vulnerability Management, and SIM / SEM Solutions on a daily basis.

With fantastic offices based in the city, you will be part of a flat structured and open company that offer a fun work environment and plenty of opportunities to enhance your development through training and conferences. You will be able to work remotely 2-3 days a week in this position.

Requirements:

• You have extensive network security experience
• You have experience with incident response, incident handling, and change control
• You have a very good understanding of Cisco and ideally Juniper firewalls
• You have experience with DMZ to an architect / engineer level
• You have extensive experience with routing, switching, and firewalls
• You have a background in finance (front office trading, hedge funds, banking etc.) or have worked for a large tech company
• You ideally have automation scripting experience using Python or Bash
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
