Location: Remote (must be based within the UK
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £775 per day through umbrella
Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday

Your new role

We have an opportunity for a Security Consultant for Windows Hardening to join our team on remote working basis . This is a Senior Security & Infrastructure role. As an expert on carving the Windows operating system, you will be a part of a global team of consultants, who create and define minimum configuration standards. To deploy and implement hardening exercises across the business. You will be delivering against tight deadlines. In this role, you will connect your previous engineering experience with cyber security expertise.

Key responsibilities
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, whilst representing the cyber security department to external clients. Liaising with different local markets across the globe.
  • Audit and assurance activities across the business.
  • Implementing Microsoft Product Suite into our client's networks, which will then measure compliance against the hardening standards.
  • Project Support to support the migration of the old tool into the new tool.
  • Ensuring highest standard of reporting in the old tool and being able to implement it into the new tool.
  • Producing a checklist and informing our client about redefined hardening standards.
  • To assist and detect any legacy system issues

What you'll need to succeed
  • Strong Engineering background in Windows
  • Certifications desired: CISSP, CISM
  • Technology consultancy background within the Cyber Security space
  • Experience in Risk and Compliance Management
  • Experience in identifying issues from the service perspective
  • Experience working large complex environments
