Due to a growth in business, we are recruiting for an infrastructure designer to join our group networks and voice services team. This is a great job for someone with strong technical experience in the design and operation of general voice services and contact centres solutions.

You will join a well-established and supportive team whose role is key to the business as they oversee the infrastructures that are made available to our business teams which allow interactions with our customers and business partners; this includes traditional voice, contact centre and mobile products

A bit about the job:
Purpose of the role is to create the capability within the team to take high level solution designs from our architecture team for our voice services and add the lower level functional and technical design details to them in both business as usual and project environments.

You should be familiar with working in a large and complex organisation with outsourced service providers, be skilled at solution design ownership and management and building positive relationships across the business. This role is ideally suited to an individual with experience of both architecture and operations who is focussed on driving technology evolution in a sustainable manner to maintain operational excellence.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Working understanding of Data Networks (e.g. Cisco), MS Teams and Cloud Platforms/Principles (e.g. GCP, AWS). Experience of working within the TOGAF design or ITIL service frameworks
  • Strong technical experience of the following disciplines is highly desirable: SIP based voice services, Omni-channel Contact Centre services such as Voice, Video, Call Recording Services, Speech Analytics, Workforce Management, Chat, Chatbot, Voice Reporting and Mobile services (included SMS services)
  • Proven experience of working in large scale, complex outsourced managed IT environments
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills - ability to build credible relationship with stake holders and the wider business and suppliers at all levels

What you'll get for this role:
  • Starting salary of £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Aviva will contribute up to 14% to your personal pension (dependent on your contribution)
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus
  • Family friendly parental and carer's leave
  • 29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products
  • Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars
  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme
