Our Cloud Services Security is looking for an agile Scrum Master. Cloud Services – Security offer a range of security–focused products and services to consumers of our cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Our strategic roadmap includes delivering new platforms, products and services and continually improving our existing ones. This Scrum Master role supports the Security Engineering teams to manage E2E delivery of change releases for the 3 public clouds operated by LBG (GCP, Azure, AWS) as well as any BAU / operational tasks. You ll coordinate day–to–day tasks and delivery activities within a Product Team, release management cycles, ensuring delivery is managed smoothly and effectively with processes, resource and MI in place as needed.

As a Scrum Master you will be working on across the Group s flagship platforms to improve and enhance the strategic platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS) that will enable the business to realise the next generation of services that form the Bank s vision for 2022 and beyond.

The role will have end–to–end accountabilities including:
  • Working with Agile frameworks like Scrum/Kanban
  • Coaching teams through transformation journeys
  • Identifying shortcomings or inefficiencies: proposing improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures
  • Bring passion to your role: inspiring and motivating team members


The role will require you to be hands–on and will blend both Scrum expertise with an understanding of Cloud topics.

  • Planning work with the SRE Leads and squad leads
  • Reporting on progress of work items
  • Identify shortcomings and opportunities, then suggest and implement improvements to existing team practices
  • Driving onboarding activities + enhancements, building a team


What s needed to be considered for this job?

Essential:
  • Hands on experience working with Agile frameworks like Scrum/Kanban
  • Experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience and understanding of Lean and Agile principles and their applications in a complex technical / structural environment
  • Use of Confluence / Jira work management tools
  • Able to manage challenges, workloads and support necessary for engineers in a Product Team to deliver to the team's vision


Desirable:
  • Exposure to Public Clouds – Azure, GCP or AWS
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM),Professional Scrum Master (PSM)or equivalent), or equivalent
  • Worked within a Cyber Security or an Engineering function previously
  • Expertise in MI + reporting (EazyBI / PowerBI / equivalents)
