The BT Security"Advisory business unit"is a specialist organisation that sits within BT Business, and is responsible, across our client base, for provision of high end"security"consulting expertise within client accounts by creating value, identifying opportunity, influencing design of solutions and differentiating BT Security propositions, through an in depth technical understanding of the"security"portfolio and the complex threat landscape."Security advisors"deliver specific"advisory"packages where these can be leveraged to improve the BT Security reputation within an account or to influence the way a client procures"security"capability to benefit BT."

The key purpose"of this role is to"is to provide"security"subject matter expertise in support of the growth ambitions of BT Security.""This will be achieved"by working closely with clients"and providing innovative thought leadership that positions"BT Security as a"credible"provider of"security"capabilities"whilst generating and"identify opportunities within Focus/Develop/Incubator accounts. Using this knowledge to"influence"sales strategy"and"grow BT Security business."

What you'll be doing:

• Provides advice and guidance to clients on how to build security strategies and programmes which deliver on the"clients"objectives and deliver outcomes that they would not have otherwise achieved"
• Direct engagement with Decision Makers within new & strategic BT Customer base up to C level."
• Works with"customers" to"develop their security strategy taking into account future requirements for managed security services & Leads delivery of complex security consultancy opportunities."

• Works with customers to ensure their compliance to security standards."
• Provides technical thought leadership and mentoring to help develop and coach junior team members."
• Contribute to improvement of working processes."
